Highway 48

Highway 48's Northern Terminus lies within the Westward Village Reservation where it intersects with the Western Terminus of the Highway 5 Spur.

Proceeding South, a detour bypasses the planned 48/230 connector.

There is a covered interchange with S 55th Street, after which the highway transitions from pavement to path, with the exception of a bridge.

After intersecting Southern Shore Trail, Highway 48 comes to its Southern Terminus with an overlook.
